Over the years, some one thousand young performers have become scholarship recipients of the Foundation. For them, a scholarship is not only support, but also professional standing and a stage.
The scholarship programme is one of the Foundation's key areas of work. Scholarships are awarded to talented children and young musicians, as well as to vocalists, dancers, artists and composers from Russia and other countries.
Scholarship recipients gain concert experience, perform in the Foundation's programmes and develop their careers under the personal guidance of artistic director Vladimir Spivakov.
Named scholarships are awarded once a year at the Foundation's gala concert. The decision on the award and the size of the grant is made each year by the Foundation's Council; the winners receive a certificate and a cash prize. Over the years, scholarships have been awarded to young violinists, pianists, cellists, harpists, performers on folk and wind instruments, vocalists and artists from across the country.

The Foundation's scholarship recipients and alumni are regular participants in its concert programmes, which take place throughout the year. The register of participants encompasses several hundred performers from various cities across Russia and abroad, in the following fields: piano and organ, strings, folk and wind instruments, percussion, voice and choirs, and dance ensembles.
