Our Initiatives

Campaigns, fundraisers and projects with a definite deadline and a definite occasion — what the Foundation does in addition to its permanent programmes.

The Foundation’s permanent programmes run year after year: named scholarships, the “Moscow Meets Friends” festival, master classes given by outstanding musicians. Initiatives work differently. Each has its own occasion and its own deadline — to raise money for an instrument for a particular child, to hold a series of concerts under a grant, to support a campaign run by partners.

Below are the initiatives the Foundation has written about in its news. Descriptions of the permanent programmes and educational projects are gathered on the “Projects” page.

An instrument, a ticket, a stage

A donation to the Foundation means an instrument in a child’s hands, a journey to a competition and a concert that would otherwise never happen.
