Each year the festival is held under its own motto. Here are the recent editions of “Moscow Meets Friends”.
1–10 October 2026. Dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Nine concerts, art exhibitions, an online programme and master classes; the presentation of instruments and named scholarships.
Opening on 1 October 2025. The expected reach is at least 20,000 spectators at the venues and up to 10 million people through the media.
Opening on 1 October 2024. The festival coincided with the 30th anniversary of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation.
The twentieth, jubilee edition of the festival in the autumn of 2023.
Edition of the festival in the autumn of 2022.
18 May — 1 June 2021. The festival was dedicated to the medics who fought COVID-19. More than 2,400 applications were received, and over 1,500 participants were selected from more than 60 regions of Russia and 42 countries. The “Mercy” prize was awarded to the staff of the Gamaleya Center.
