Little Passenger Day

The celebration that Aeroflot holds at Sheremetyevo Airport on 1 June, International Children’s Day. The wards of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation now perform there by tradition.

What this celebration is

A concert in the terminal — instead of waiting for a flight

Every 1 June Aeroflot turns Sheremetyevo into a concert venue: young musicians play in the departure area and in the public part of the terminal, and dance and circus companies perform. The listeners are passengers with children who happen to be at the airport that day.

The wards of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation take part in the celebration year after year. The venue is such that the programme is played twice in a single day — for two different streams of listeners.

Miles that become tickets

The Foundation has worked with PJSC Aeroflot since 2009. It proposed the idea of “Miles of Mercy” more than fifteen years ago, and Aeroflot put it into practice within the “Aeroflot Bonus” programme: accumulated miles turn into tickets for children — for treatment far from home, competitions and concerts.
